At Mukima Manor, wellness is woven into the rhythm of daily life. Surrounded by forests, water, open skies, and the quiet presence of Mount Kenya, we invite you to reconnect with what truly restores you. Here, wellness is not confined to a spa, it’s in every breath of fresh air, every nourishing meal, every moment of stillness in nature. From the warmth of a cedarwood sauna with forest views to the crackle of a wood-fired hot tub under the stars, from mindful yoga and meditation to hiking, riding, and swimming in the wild - each experience is designed to bring balance, energy, and calm. Whether you seek gentle restoration, invigorating movement, or a deep sense of connection to nature, Mukima offers a sanctuary where body, mind, and spirit can find harmony.
After the Covid-19 pandemic left Mukima Manor in a state of quiet ruin, Anna and her husband, Shawn, took on a monumental task: to be its guardians. Their five-year journey of restoration was a labor of love, culminating in the manor’s grand reopening in 2025 as a boutique hotel. Anna believes that this land holds a profound purpose, that it was meant to be a refuge for healing, a place to reconnect with the natural world, a place people can rely on to tap out of the noise and into restoration. Her path to this calling was unique; she began her studies in Neuroscience but felt a deeper pull toward the holistic wisdom of Ayurvedic medicine, yoga and meditation. By bridging these different disciplines, she became an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach with a focus on disease prevention. Today, Anna shares this sacred space and her expertise by hosting intimate Wild Wellness Retreats, offering a transformative experience for those who seek it. You can learn more
