House Rules

A few quiet asks

As a wildlife and wellness destination, we try to protect a peaceful environment for guests and wildlife alike.

01 · Smoking

Designated areas outside

No smoking inside the house. Smoking is only permitted at the designated outdoor areas, your host can show you. Please smoke away from others.

02 · Pets

Two friendly dogs in residence

We are sadly unable to host guest pets. Two friendly Mukima dogs live here, if you'd prefer they not be in the common areas, please tell us; they have a separate playground.

03 · Guests

By prior booking

We are a private hotel, reserved by prior booking only. For visiting friends to join a meal, please give us a day's notice so we can prepare and alert security.

04 · Parties

Exclusive use, please

We love a good party, but the house needs to be booked exclusively for one. Let us know if a celebration is more your speed.

05 · Noise

Reasonable volume

Please keep noise reasonable in the house and common areas, to respect other guests and the surrounding wildlife.

06 · Damage

Honest is best

Please alert the manager to any breakages or damages so we can help. Some may need to be billed for, within reason.

To Stay Healthy & Happy

Tips for your stay

Warm Layer
Take a warm jumper on safari, the temperature can drop later in the day or if the rain rolls in. We have extra blankets on standby.
Equator Sun
Sunblock, a hat, sunglasses. Stay hydrated, refill from any tap on the property.
Mosquitoes
Not many, we are not a malaria zone. But they can appear at dawn and dusk in some seasons.
Before You Go

A small checklist
