Cedar sauna at Mukima
Sauna · Hot Tub · Pool

Cedar walls. Wood smoke. A hot soak.

A large cedar-walled sauna that seats twelve, an exceptional way to detox after safari. Follow it with our Swedish wood-fired hot tub, set among the lavender.

Pool open all day. Strong swimmers only when unsupervised, please, but a pool attendant is readily on hand with towels, drinks and anything you need.

Our massage room is found by the pool, a place to truly unwind and restore. Surrender to botanical oils and capable hands for an hour or more.

Reflexology, manicures and pedicures are also available, by gentle hands.

Contrast therapy

Forest Bathing

The Woodland Waddle

Step into our 100-acre rewilded forest, a sanctuary we returned to nature in 2005 and have lovingly protected since. Indigenous canopy, a soft trail, 237 species of birds, and the friendly small mammals, bush buck, reed buck, hares, porcupines, hedgehogs.

Follow the charming Woodland Waddle signs for a complete loop, thoughtfully placed benches invite you to pause, rest, or meditate. The owner aptly describes this forest as “the gift that keeps on giving”.
