A ceremony fit for royalty
The centrepiece of your celebration is, of course, the ceremony itself. With Mount Kenya standing sentinel in the distance, its grandeur adds a touch of awe and inspiration to your vows. Breathe in the crisp Kenyan air, its freshness a symbol of your new beginnings.

A reception under the stars
Imagine a candlelit reception in the orangery, the doors flung open to the gardens. Long tables set with fresh flowers from our beds, lanterns hung from the wisteria. Dance into the evening on the lawns, with the silhouette of Mount Kenya behind you and the sound of frogs and crickets singing in the dam.
Whole house, your way
We host weddings exclusively, you take Mukima for the weekend, and we make it yours. Nine ensuite bedrooms across the Manor House, plus Forest Den and Boat House on the estate, sleep up to 18 in beds. We can arrange tented camps for additional guests, dining for up to 150 with rented settings, and ceremony spaces in the gardens and at the dam.
We hold your hand
Two private chefs, our wedding planner, sound, lighting, florals, and capable hands for an hour or more. Garden ceremony, orangery dinner, dance floor on the lawn. We help plan, source, host and tidy up. Wedding-planner support on request. The mountain is your witness.
Beyond the day
Make a week of it. Game drives at Lewa or Solio, sundowners at the dam, picnic lunches in the sanctuary, spa treatments in the pavilion, horse riding through the olive orchard, helicopter trips to the mountain. A wedding here is the beginning of the holiday, not the end.
